Strength and Social Club
Our regular Tuesday and Thursday class, focused on bone and muscle strength. This class primarily utilises resistance training exercises and is primarily targeted at those in their 50s and 60s who want to get the most out of their bodies!
Healthy Living for Seniors
An awesome opportunity for improving strength and balance, this class is run in conjunction with Uniting Aged Care on a Monday at 10:30 and Thursday at 11am. It is available at a subsidised rate for those registered with Uniting. For more information on how to register please give us a call.
With a focus on improving metabolic health and Type 2 diabetes control this class involves a combination of aerobic and strength based exercises. A Medicare rebate is available to those people suffering from Type 2 diabetes. Please see your GP for a referral or give us a call for more information. This Class is conducted at both Batemans Bay on Wednesdays at 11am and Queen Street Medical Centre on Fridays at 11:30am
Chronic Pain Programs
Our Chronic Pain programs run periodically throughout the year, these are a 6 week intensive program involving a 3hr session each week. This program is currently funded via Coordinare with no cost to participants however a GP referral is needed prior to attending.
Falls Prevention Programs
New for 2019 our first program will be starting in February, this program involves an individual 1:1 assessment and an 8 weeks group training program involving exercise and dietary advice. This program is run in conjunction with some of our local aged care providers.
If you are looking to get a start at strength and conditioning in a fun and safe environment where you can learn the correct techniques required to complete a wide range of strength training exercises This program is open to young athletes 14-18yrs.
